Neve and Noor was founded in 2015 by Sophie Mitchell who’s background is in Art, Textiles, Interior Architecture and Design.
Sophie has always had a passion for textiles and fashion. She has never had an interest in following trends but only in beautiful craftsmanship.
After an inspiring visit to one of London’s iconic fabric houses whilst working in interior design, she fell in love with some exquisite hand block fabrics, which led her to want to design and turn beautiful prints into unique wearable pieces.
It was on a trip to Jaipur, India, where her knowledge about hand blocked printing grew. She became captivated by the intricate and centuries-old process, the beauty of the raw and subtle textures and the quality of material, which truly sets these fabrics apart. This led to the creation of Neve and Noor.
Sophie always aims to create timeless, stylish and comfortable styles in each of her curated collections. All her dresses can be worn from day to night.
Our Sustainability Values
As a company we only work with breathable and sustainable fabrics which are all hand block printed onto the finest cotton voile.
Block printing is a skill and only achievable by the most talented hard working artisans in Jaipur. It’s an honour to be able to work with such talented craftsman and keep alive the work that they have inherited through generations.
Our production team is divided between our talented team in Jaipur and our passionate seamstress’s in London.
We pride ourselves on being a slow fashion brand, producing small runs in order to keep waste to a minimum.
